• Enhanced 2-Tone/5-Tone/DTMF
  Built-in 2-Tone, 5-Tone, and DTMF signalings are optional in order to adapt to different systems around the world. Individual call, group call, broadcast call and remote killing, etc. could be realized by configuring different ID signalings.

• Man-down Alarm
  It can be used to call for help when you fall over at work, in a remote or restricted area. When the radio is on a certain angle for longer than the preset time, an automatic alarm will not only be sent to another fixed or handheld radio, but also be sent the base station.
• Out-of-Range Alert
  Built-in Out-of-Range Alert can be critically important in search-and-rescue applications. It provides a “hand-shake” with other Out-of-Range Alert equipped radio, and the display indicates if an "Out of Range" condition exists. The base station can then alert the field unit to move to a better location.
• Whisper
  The radio will pick up your whisper when you need to keep things quiet.
• Channel Annunciation
  Channel annunciation offers convenience to users in special applications, e.g. working in the darkness. The annunciation could be programmed in different languages.
• Built-in Voice Scrambler
  Other radios using the same frequency cannot hear the talking between two communication parties with the built-in scrambler, which helps to enhance the communication privacy.
• VOX (Voice Operated Transmission)
  VOX allows hands-free transmission on the radio when using the appropriate earphone/headset.
• Lowest Volume Audibility
  Even you rotate the volume knob to the lowest level you can still hear voice.

• 16 Channels
  16 communication channels provide flexible channel assignments among different user groups.
• Multi-mode Scanning
  Scanning channel is convenient for the team leader to monitor the on-site situations. The scanning mode and scanning priority is programmable.
• Multi-mode Monitoring
  You can press the MONI key to monitor whether the current channel has signal. The MONI function is to receive weak signal. The various monitoring modes are programmable.
• Low Battery Power Alert
  When the battery power appears is low, the working status indicator flashes red, reminding you to recharge or replace the battery.
• BCLO, BTLO and TOT
  To facilitate efficient channel management, PT7200 provides Busy Channel Lock-Out (BCLO) and Busy Tone Lock-Out (BTLO) features. And the radio's Time-Out Timer (TOT) function prevents a "stuck microphone" condition from jamming a channel for an extended period of time.
• PC Programmable
  With the optional programming cable, the parameters could be configured through PC software.
• Wired Radio-to-Radio Clone
  To quickly set the parameters on a radio, you can clone the radio data from another radio with the supplied cloning cable, saving the time of parameter programming.
