The Research and Development Center at POTONE is the largest base in China for transceivers, mobile technology, repeaters, and trunking systems. Currently there are over 400 R & D personnel at POTONE's two centers and three laboratories. The two centers include the Trunking Research Center and The Professional Wireless Project R&D Center. Furthermore, The Trunking Research Center is a joint venture between POTONE and Harbin Industrial University, and together the Center is leading the way in Chinese Trunking technology. The High Frequency Laboratory, Universal Standard Laboratory and Environmental Laboratory, are POTONE's three advanced laboratories, and responsible for the testing of all our products.

All of POTONE's products have passed stringent professional testing requirements before being ready for sale. No product is approved before it has first undergone submersion tests, heat and humidity tests, drop tests, salt mist tests and more. Every product is in accordance with all of the national standards and each one has received a National Model Approval Certificate by the Wireless Administration Committee of China. Moreover, most of our models have FCC certificates, CE certificates and type approvals in more than 70 countries including Russia, Canada and South Africa.

In the area of trunking systems communication, and mobile data transmission systems, POTONE has the ability to provide sophisticated solutions to an assortment of application fields –such as trunking system networks, emergency coordination, connections between conventional systems and trunking systems, wire and wireless coordination and combinations for 110 Emergency Centers, inquiry for police data, GPS tracking and more. Furthermore, our 350 MHz trunking system, and its terminal products have been given the Enter Network Permit Certificate issued by the Chinese Public Security Department.
